The Arrangement on Reciprocal Recognition and Enforcement of Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters (REJ Arrangement) entered between the Mainland and Hong Kong will come into operation on 29 January 2024.
To give effect to the long-awaited REJ Arrangement, the Hong Kong Government has gazetted the Mainland Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters (Reciprocal Enforcement) Ordinance (Cap. 645) (Ordinance), and more recently, the relevant rules on the court practice and procedure under the Ordinance.
