Deacons assisted Viva Goods Company Limited in its successful transfer of listing from GEM to the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange

Deacons advised Viva Goods Company Limited in relation to its transfer of listing from GEM to the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Viva Goods was first listed on GEM (stock code: 8032) in April 2000.  It is now a multi-brand operator principally engaged in (i) design and development, branding and sales of lifestyle apparel and footwear, and (ii) provision of sports experience.

Dealings in the shares of Viva Goods on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 933) have commenced on 27 June 2023.

In recent years, Viva Goods completed a number of significant acquisitions of apparel and footwear brands, including, among others, ‘‘Bossini’’ (a well-known casual wear brand in Hong Kong and the PRC), ‘‘Amedeo Testoni’’ (a luxury leatherwear brand based in Italy) and ‘‘Clarks’’ (a well-known British footwear brand). We acted as the Hong Kong legal advisers to Viva Goods in all these transactions.
