We are proud to announce that Deacons has been recognised in the FT’s Innovative Lawyers Report for Asia-Pacific.
The publication commended Deacons’ achievement in the Finance category where the firm acted for Hong Kong Science and Technology Corporation for the first transaction in which the Government of Hong Kong acted as guarantor of debt securities. The deal was led by capital markets partner Kevin Tong.
The annual report, which was put together with the support of RSG Consulting, assesses matters based on their originality, rationale and impact. The FT received 494 submissions from 81 law firms and 33 in-house legal teams in the region, researched through over 300 client, law firm and expert reviews and in-depth interviews. This year’s rankings reveal a highly fluid and dynamic market for law firms both headquartered within and outside the region.
