Deacons assisted Pando Finance Limited to set up a new open-ended fund company (OFC) and to launch their first exchanged-traded funds (ETFs) in Hong Kong

Deacons Financial Services Partner Pinky Siu and Associate Jack Hung recently assisted Pando Finance Limited (Pando) to set up a new open-ended fund company (the OFC), namely, Pando ETF Series OFC, and its two initial sub-funds, i) Pando Innovation ETF; and ii) Pando Blockchain ETF (the ETFs).

The ETFs are Pando’s first retail products and first exchange-traded funds listed in Hong Kong. They were listed in The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on 8 December 2022.

Pando Finance’s ETFs are actively managed. One ETF invests in companies which are involved in the provision of innovative products and/or services; the other invests in companies relating to blockchain technology.
