AIMA Annual Forum and the first networking drinks of 2016

Deacons’ Financial Services Partner Taylor Hui took part in the ‘AIMA in Asia’ forum on 21^st January 2016. Taylor was invited to be a panellist in the breakout session, “Preparing for Investor Due Diligence and the AIMA DDQ”. Held in Chinese, the discussion provided an overview of the type of information you may be expected to provide and offered some guidance on dealing with that first all-important investor approach.

In its second year, the ‘AIMA in ASIA’ forum brought together major policy and regulatory figures, hedge fund managers and other thought leaders in the Asia-Pacific region. The event focuses on the key regulatory, policy and operational issues anticipated for APAC managers in the coming year.

Following the conference, Deacons sponsored and co-hosted the networking cocktail at Rama’s Oyster Bar and Grill in Wanchai. The evening had a great turnout, including several chief industry leaders from the alternative investment management industry.
