Deacons advises China Merchants Securities in relation to Canvest Environmental Protection Group’s HK$1.16 billion IPO

Deacons recently advised the sole sponsor, China Merchants Securities (HK) Co., Limited and the underwriters, in relation to the Main Board IPO of Canvest Environmental Protection Group Company Limited.

Launched on December 15^th 2014, the IPO is expected to raise up to HK$1.165 billion (subject to the exercise of over-allotment option).   

Canvest Environmental Protection is a leading pure play waste-to-energy provider focused solely on the development, management and operation of waste-to-energy plants in the PRC. The company is expected to list on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on December 29^th 2014.

The transaction was led by corporate finance partner Ronny Chow.
