Article “The Myths and Realities of China’s Revised Patent Examination Guidelines” published in Bloomberg BNA

Deacons’ Patents and Designs Practice Group has recently been invited by Bloomberg BNA to share their views on China’s Revised Patent Examination Guidelines. 

The article “The Myths and Realities of China’s Revised Patent Examination Guidelines” was published in the July issue of World Intellectual Property Report by Bloomberg BNA. It focussed on China’s revised Patent Examination Guidelines, which changed a number of aspects of Chinese patent practice in relation to business method patents, software patents, Beauregard claims, post grant claim amendments, public access to the prosecution file wrapper, and post-filing experimental data.
