Deacons recently assisted Manulife Investment Management to bring Manulife InvestChoice, its innovative digital mutual fund wrap account service, to market in Hong Kong.
Our Financial Services team prepared the account documentation and gave advice to help Manulife navigate Hong Kong’s legal requirements, including securities regulatory requirements, data privacy requirements and guidance on creating electronic contracts. They also helped Manulife to create a compliant digital user-friendly client take-on process. Manulife had an aggressive internal timeline to launch Manulife InvestChoice and the team worked closely with Manulife to help them successfully achieve it.
