We are pleased to announce that Deacons’ TMT expertise has been recognised by Media Law International, a specialist guide to global leaders practicing media law.
Deacons is ranked as a Tier 2 firm for media law in Hong Kong and Charmaine Koo, the co-head of the intellectual property group is recognised.
The editorial says, “Working with clients from the creative industries, Deacons has particular experience advising on recording and publishing arrangements, agency and management contracts, distribution and co-production. Led by Charmaine Koo, the team also advises on the purchase, financing and restructuring of media companies.”
Media Law International’s analysis is based on independent research that is carried out by a dedicated team of qualified specialist journalists. Questionnaires were sent out to participating law firms and interviews were being carried out with corporate media directors and advisers, by phone and face-to-face in 52 jurisdictions.
