Effective SFC inspection preparedness: We recommend that clients keep their business plans (eg. supplement 8s) and any attachments updated. This is not only because licensed corporations are required to notify the SFC whenever there is a significant change in their business plan (including internal controls, organizational structure and business contingency plan) within seven business days, but also because the SFC will usually ask for a description of the current business activities in connection with an SFC inspection.
