Deacons awards its annual Prize in Law for Young Leaders 2014

We are delighted to announce that Deacons recently awarded its annual Prize in Law for Young Leaders to Li Sze-wa Erica and Suen Yi-kei, at the LL.B. Opening Ceremony at the University of Hong Kong last week.

 All recipients of the prize are entitled to:

• an internship at the firm for two weeks with hands-on work assignments and on-the-job training in a practice group under the supervision of the firm's graduate recruitment partners
• a support network to assist in assimilating into a law firm environment
• personal development and career advice throughout the internship
• monetary award

The Deacons Prize in Law for Young Leaders is a pipeline into the profession for talented students who are in their early years of legal studies at the University of Hong Kong. With this prize we aim to provide best range of career opportunities for high-achieving individuals at one of the oldest and most respected law firms in the region.

The Deacons Prize for Young Leaders was established with the University of Hong Kong in 2013 and is related to the Deacons Prize in Law (for final year students) which was created over 10 years ago. Upcoming developments include the establishment of the Young Leaders prize with other universities in Hong Kong as well.
