Iris Cheng speaks at CEPA conference in Xian

Iris was invited by the Hong Kong Economics and Trade Office of the HKSAR Government (Chengdu) to speak on the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) at a seminar in Xian.

The CEPA seminar was organised by the Hong Kong Economics and Trade Office of the HKSAR Government in Chengdu, the Department of Commerce of Shaanxi Province, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Shaanxi Province, Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong Xian Trade Association Limited and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

Iris was quoted after the seminar in the Hong Kong Commercial Daily. She discussed how “juridical persons” (including companies, partnerships and sole proprietorships) as well as “natural persons” of Hong Kong will be able to enjoy preferential treatment granted by the Mainland under CEPA.
