Franki Cheung’s foreign investment proposal as part of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Commission wins award

As a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Commission of Beijing Haidian District (commonly known as China’s Silicon Valley), submitted a proposal to the District Government to make use of the network, resources, expertise and manpower of residents of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan as well as Chinese residing overseas who were members of the Haidian Overseas Chinese Association under the auspices of the United Front Works Department of PRC to attract foreign investment in furtherance of the Government’s policy to develop Zhongguancun, Haidian, Beijing as the core area of national innovation demonstration zone. The proposal was well received and implemented by the District Government and won an award in the category of “Excellent Proposal”.
