The explosion of the NFT market is leading to many industries exploring the use of NFTs as part of their business strategy. However, the legal treatment of NFTs is still evolving and the opportunities afforded by asset tokenisation also give rise to complex legal issues, where the law is still trying to catch up with the technology. Deacons IP Partner Ian Liu will give an introduction to NFTs, discuss the key legal issues to be aware of, and share his experience of helping a client on a NFT project.
