SFC authorised funds update

The Securities and Futures Commission’s (SFC’s) updated requirements for enhanced disclosures for authorised funds which incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors as a key investment focus came into effect on 1 January 2022. To give an update on the SFC’s guidance plus other developments, Deacons is hosting a client webinar entitled “SFC authorised funds update” on Wednesday, 27 April.

In this webinar, our speakers will talk about the SFC’s circular and industry workshop on ESG fund applications; the proposed regulatory regime for depositaries of SFC-authorised collective investment schemes; and the SFC’s requirements on the management and disclosure of climate-related risks for fund managers.
