Stefano Mariani and Mona Yip recently contributed an article to MNE Tax on the new proposed amendment to the Inland Revenue Ordinance.
The amendment would clarify that offshore venture capital funds would not lose their tax-exempt status merely by reason of their co-investment with the Hong Kong government under the Innovation and Technology Venture Fund (ITVF) scheme.
