M&A Deal of the Year: Private Equity & Venture Capital

We are pleased to announce that Deacons won M&A Deal of the Year: Private Equity & Venture Capital at the Asia Legal Awards, hosted by The Asian Lawyer, China Law & Practice and Legal Week.

The award recognised our advice on The Wharf’s HK$9.5 billion sale of its telecoms unit to two private equity firms. Deacons’ cross practice team was led by corporate finance head Ronny Chow, and supported by associates Maynard Leung and Doris Leung. The transaction also involved the real estate, intellectual property, litigation and corporate services practices.
