Investment funds partner, Taylor Hui, recently participated in an Ignites Asia webcast discussing the best route into China for foreign asset managers. Ignites Asia is a Financial Times publication.
Taylor discussed private fund management in PRC, wholly foreign-owned enterprise structures and fund manager registration with AMAC, the regulator for private fund managers.
Given the recent new rules allowing foreign managers unhindered participation in private funds sector, the live webcast was attended by 190 participants.
The webcast examines the regulatory environment and market landscape in China and discusses which routes pose the greatest potential for asset managers.
