Stanley is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, a Chartered Construction Manager, an Accredited NEC4 Project Manager and a Solicitor admitted in the High Court of Hong Kong SAR. He has over 35 years of experience serving the construction industry and has worked for reputable developers, consultants and contractors on building, heavy civil engineering, railway and other infrastructure projects in Hong Kong, Macau, China, the Middle East and Australia.  Stanley specialises in construction law, contract administration, project management, tendering strategies, Public–Private Partnerships and resolution of construction disputes through mediation, adjudication, arbitration and litigation. Stanley also advises on the use of NEC contracts.

  • Advising a publicly listed construction group in a property development project in Manila which involves project finance, acquisition of land and preparation of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (“EPC”) Contract
  • Advising a Chinese investor on a Belt and Road project which involves the construction of a light rail network along the Pasig River in Manila together with other Transit Oriented Developments
  • Advising an infrastructure investor in the contract documentation for a solar 50MW Off Grid Solar Plant project in Cameroon, Africa
  • Advising a contractor on the procurement strategies in the construction of new infrastructures and public facilities in the Republic of Chad, Africa
  • Advising on the procurement strategy for a Chinese investor in the construction of the Twin Ocean Railroad which connects the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans through Brazil and Peru
  • Advising the employer on the use of FIDIC contract in developing the residential and commercial property annexing the 2023 South East Asian Games to be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
