Patricia has practiced as a probate lawyer since 1986. She joined the probate department of a major Hong Kong trust company in December 2005 where she headed its probate services team from 2010 to 2016.
She has wide experience in succession related matters including preparation of wills, enduring powers of attorney, death related tax issues and court applications for grants in common form and special grants. She also advises and assists in distribution of estates and will trusts including selling of estate properties and preparation of vesting assents and assignments to beneficiaries.
Patricia advises on all legal aspects of succession including inheritance claims, wills disputes and succession entitlements, resolving differences between personal representatives and beneficiaries, negotiating out of court settlements and drawing up deeds of family arrangement.
She also has experience in managing and mentoring a Probate Service Team in a Hong Kong registered trust company in order to deliver will preparation, full estate administration and committeeship services to high net worth families.
