KK has wide experience in dealing with a variety of private and government building projects in Hong Kong, some of which was gained when practising as a quantity surveyor. He also acts for developers, contractors and subcontractors in construction projects, in litigation, arbitration and mediation and undertakes general advisory work in relation to construction contracts in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China. He conducts CIETAC arbitrations in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing and acts as an arbitrator and mediator in construction and commercial disputes. KK handles complex, high value shareholders’ disputes, often involving multiple jurisdictions. He also handles cross-border commercial disputes involving Hong Kong, Mainland China and other countries.

representing a registered specialist contractor and its employee in a major industrial summons for alleged violation of the Buildings Ordinance and involving injury to a pedestrian from the Magistrates’ Court to the Court of Final Appeal
acting for a major developer in various disputes with its facade consultants/sub-contractor arising out of a renovation project in a prime shopping centre
advising a development manager who is assisting the developer in a proposed major residential project in Hong Kong involving various issues arising out of the acquisition of land
assisting a Mainland developer in the acquisition in relation to the construction aspect of the deal, e.g. construction due diligence, drafting of construction related warranties in SPA and drafting / negotiating the terms of a project management agreement
advising on a dispute involving a HK$10 billion Macau casino project
acting for a minority shareholder in a very complex, multi-billion Hong Kong dollars shareholders’ dispute, involving multiple jurisdictions, with one of the trials lasting for 35 days in Hong Kong, with over 30 lawyers in the Courtroom.
advising in a family shareholders’ dispute, involving proceedings in a number of jurisdictions
