Amy is a Senior Associate of Deacons’ Intellectual Property Department. She is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong. Amy holds a BA degree (First Class Honours), a LLB degree and a PCLL from the University of Hong Kong.
Amy is experienced in IP protection and enforcement in Hong Kong, particularly contentious matters involving trade mark, passing off, copyright, company name infringement, enforcement of foreign judgments in Hong Kong, domain names, trade secrets and breach of confidence. She is also experienced in advising on IP general commercial and local law compliance issues in a wide spectrum of areas such as personal data protection, advertising, internet, domain names, trade descriptions, consumer protection and licensing.
She also worked for a number of years as an in-house Senior Legal Counsel at one of the largest professional services firms in the world, where she gained considerable experience on advising on IP/IT and general commercial/contract matters.
