Our annual Health Week aims to raise awareness of different health issues and introduce healthy workouts and activities that Deacons’ staff and family members can enjoy to have a balanced lifestyle. Past activities include group spinning classes, Tai Chi (a Chinese martial art for defence training) and workshops conducted by medical specialists.
Million Steps for Charity is an initiative that encourages our staff to collectively walk 1 million steps during a nine-day period to support a good cause. Other than promoting the benefits of staying active and healthy, this campaign also allows Deacons to give back to the community in partnership with our clients who support Deacons’ Corporate Social Responsibility events.
Health Awareness talks are organised by Deacons Cares all year round with trending health topics to provide professional insights from different guest speakers. Past event topics range from raising awareness of the Breast Cancer month in October, bringing attention to the importance of mental health, tips to maintain good eye health and vision etc.
