Community Engagement

Being engaged with society and supporting public and non-profit sectors is a core value of our Deacons Cares programme.

There are many initiatives that Deacons Cares has worked on to provide opportunities to give back to the community.

Some of the featured programmes include:

Long-term partnership with Hong Chi Association to provide office flower arrangements and also annual Mother’s Day Flower Arrangement Workshop.

Hosting annual Blood Donation Day with the Hong Kong Red Cross.

Organising educational seminars and raising awareness to understand more about the work done by ImpactHK and hosting a Kindness Walk for amplified impact.

Volunteering with elderly home visits and supporting call centres in collaboration with Senior Citizen Home Safe Association.

Our care to the community extends to Mainland China. Under the signature Hand-in-Hand Programme, volunteers from our Mainland China offices visited various organisations for the less privileged, including the Beijing ChenGuang Cerebral Palsy Children Rehabilitation Centre and the Songtang Care Hospital.
