Requirements:

  • Formal secretarial training
  • At least 3 years of legal secretarial experience
  • Excellent English and Chinese languages skills. Proficiency in Putonghua is an added advantage
  • Good English audio typing skill
  • Well versed in MS Word (English and Chinese word processing skills) and Excel
  • Attention to detail, organized and self-motivated
  • Ability to work under pressure and willingness to work overtime

 

The role will be focusing on corporate finance projects and will include but not be limited to the following duties:

  • Review corporate and other legal and commercial documents
  • Conduct site visits and due diligence interviews with parties in Hong Kong and overseas
  • Prepare various documents in Chinese and English, including prospectuses, shareholders’ circulars, announcements, offer documents, due diligence reports, minutes and notices of meetings, etc.
  • Conduct verification of prospectuses and offer documents
  • Liaise with issuers and other working parties

 Requirements:

  • University graduate
  • Excellent English and Chinese language skills, proficiency in Putonghua

Job Description:
• Handle a wide range of trade mark matters including trade mark searches, prosecution work, oppositions and portfolio management
• Will work directly with partners and senior lawyers
Requirements:
• Preferably have completed legal studies
• Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of IP / trade mark experience
• Languages: Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) and English (both written and spoken)

We are seeking a high calibre and experienced paralegal to join our Commercial Litigation Practice Group.  The role is to provide legal support to lawyers within the practice group, including document review and indexing, research, preparation of court documents and bundles, drafting simple correspondence, liaising with clients and third parties, and translation work.  

Requirements:

  • Holder of a law degree (LLB) or a diploma in law/legal studies or equivalent
  • Experience in a law firm/the legal industry
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese (both written and oral)
  • Proficiency in Putonghua is not necessary, but would be an advantage
  • Hard working, highly organised and enthusiastic
  • Analytical, with good attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication (written and oral ) and proof-reading skills
