The establishment of Chinese specialist intellectual property courts in late 2014 was greeted with enthusiasm, fuelled by hope that they would help to improve standards and consistency in IP cases.
The article details several initiatives undertaken by the court in its first year as well as discussing the implications for wider judicial reform.
