Corporate Finance practice wins China Business Law Journal “Deals of the Year 2020” award

We are delighted to announce that Deacons has won the China Business Law Journal “Deals of the Year 2020” award for “Ministry of Finance of the PRC issues sovereign bonds in Hong Kong”.

The Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China (“MoF”) issued a total of RMB 10 billion Sovereign Bonds in September and November 2019, respectively. The Sovereign Bonds continue to serve as a pricing benchmark for other offerings of RMB bonds in Hong Kong by PRC institutions. Deacons advised on the issuing and lodging agent in the transaction on Hong Kong law.
