Deacons’ Ronny Chow talks about the new “Sponsor Coupling” requirement for Main Board IPOs

The new conduct requirements for capital market intermediaries’ bookbuilding and placing activities in Hong Kong will come into effect on 5 August 2022.   On 22 April 2022, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange published the consequential Listing Rule amendments to complement those requirements.  In this video, Deacon’s Corporate Finance Partner Ronny Chow briefly talks about the new “Sponsor Coupling” requirement for Main Board IPOs.
