Deacons Employment and Pensions team, together with the Asia-Pacific members of the Employment Law Alliance (ELA), have published this white paper, titled “Remote Workers: Asia Pacific Guide for Employers”. The paper provides insights into hiring remote workers in fourteen Asia-Pacific jurisdictions. We address frequently asked questions such as “whether it is possible for a foreign entity to hire remote workers in the relevant jurisdiction” and “the common risks associated with hiring remote workers”.
