Deacons achieves impressive results in Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2019 rankings

The Legal 500 Asia Pacific results were recently released and once again Deacons has achieved a strong set of results across the board.  The Legal 500 is a leading independent publication which ranks the region’s best lawyers and firms, based on extensive research compiled from interviews, peer reviews and client feedback.

Overall we are ranked in 18 practice areas in Hong Kong, an increase from 17 practice areas due to our  ranking in Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT) for the first time. Within the China chapter, our Intellectual Property department continues to be recognised and has moved up  to Tier 2 in the 2019 rankings.

Investment Funds and Intellectual Property departments remain top tier practices, and we are delighted that nine of our partners from various practices are listed in the elite "Leading lawyers" list, the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2019's guide to outstanding lawyers in Asia Pacific. Five of our lawyers are listed in the "Next generation lawyers" list, The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2019's guide to up-and-coming lawyers in Asia Pacific, and 60 lawyers recommended in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2019 editorial.
