Hong Kong Government awards first NEC4 Contract

On 26 June 2018, the Hong Kong Government (Drainage Services Department) awarded its first NEC4 contract – a HK$6.8 million Professional Service Contract Option A to Black & Veatch Hong Kong Ltd. Under the PSC, Black and Veatch will undertake investigations for drainage improvement works in Mongkok, Kowloon. The scope of the agreement is a preliminary design for the drainage improvement works and will last for around 18 months. With the Hong Kong Government awarding its first NEC4 contract, it is expected that further NEC4 contracts will be awarded down the pipeline.
