Deacons shortlisted for The Asian Lawyer, Asia Legal Awards 2016

We are pleased to announce that Deacons’ advice on Chongbang’s US$920 million capital fundraising has been shortlisted for “Securities Deal of the Year: Equity” by The Asian Lawyer for their Asia Legal Awards 2016.  This transaction has received wide media coverage including Reuters and Bloomberg.

The awards recognize the best examples of complex, high-stakes legal work and corporate social responsibility in the region.

The winners will be announced at an awards dinner taking place on 23 February 2015 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong. The awards ceremony attracts Hong Kong’s most influential solicitors, in-house counsel, investment bankers, judiciary and CEOs, who annually assemble to celebrate in a spirit of collegiality.

In 2015, Deacons won the Citizenship Award at the Asia Legal Awards for our corporate social responsibility initiative, Deacons Cares.
