Insights into 947 HK-China MRF Funds

Taylor Hui was recently interviewed by Ignites Asia, a Financial Times publication, regarding the approximately 947 funds that qualify under the mutual fund recognition scheme.

While the majority of mainland fund houses that have made submissions to the SFC so far have made applications for just one or two funds, some had earlier expressed interest in bringing a large number of funds to Hong Kong in one go.

Taylor commented that he had one mainland client who wanted to bring 25 funds to Hong Kong through the programme.
