Deacons wins Hong Kong Firm of the Year at Managing IP Global Awards

Deacons’ intellectual property practice is consistently recognised for its track record of leading cases and seamless service across Hong Kong and China.

We are pleased to announce Deacons was awarded the prestigious “Hong Kong Firm of the Year” at the Managing IP Global Awards 2015. This is the tenth anniversary of the awards which recognise outstanding work by law firms around the world, as well as celebrating in-house teams and individual achievements.

The awards ceremony took place at the Intercontinental Hotel in London and Catherine Zheng, intellectual property partner, picked up the award for Deacons.

Managing IP continues to recommend the firm in Tier 1 for Hong Kong patent prosecution, patent contentious, trademark prosecution and trademark contentious work. The firm has featured in the top band for over 10 years.

This follows a record year of achievements as we were awarded Intellectual Property Firm of the Year at the China Business Law Awards, published by China Business Law Journal. The journal’s editorial reported: The firm’s services, especially in intellectual property (IP), are “very efficient, very comprehensive”, says a legal and compliance chief of a leading independent investment bank in China.

Prior to that, Deacons was also awarded Best Hong Kong Patent Firm and Best Hong Kong Copyright Firm at the Asia IP Awards as well as Intellectual Property Firm of the Year at the Asian Legal Business Hong Kong Law Awards.
