Jeff McLean, Shuwei Tang and Jennifer Mo speak at Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Jeff McLean, Shuwei Tang and Jennifer Mo were invited to speak at a session titled, “Patent Gatekeepers – What To Do When The Patent Office Says No?” on Friday 21 November 2014 at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Jeff, Shuwei and Jennifer analysed an interesting case, presented practical insights on an Office Action and advised on key parts of an Office Action from an inventor’s perspective. 

The seminar was well-received by staff and students as it helped them understand different practices from around the world in determining Novelty and Inventive Step in a practical context.  After the seminar, we received a number of follow-up questions and had interactive discussions with the participants.
