Deacons’ Financial Services Group 8th Charity Golf Day – Tee off for a good cause

In the wake of Typhoon Haiyan, our 8th Charity Golf Day took place on 10 January 2014 at the Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course in support of relief efforts in the Philippines. Rory Gallaher, Taylor Hui and Jeremy Lam hosted golfers from the financial services industry. This year we raised $78,000 which brought the accumulated eight year total of the Charity Golf Day to around $500,000. All proceeds from this year’s event will go to World Vision to support relief operations and the distribution of emergency supplies in the Philippines.

The event was also proudly sponsored by British Airways, the Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club, Island Shangri-la Hong Kong and La Maison du Chocolat.
